Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Mary Isaacs and Dr. Kathryn Miller strive for excellence by providing quality care and support for their patients on a private, individualized and personal foundation. They focus the practice's environment to achieve mutual respect, long-term relationships, and to encourage patients to become a part of the practice's family. Both Drs. take pride in treating the patient, not just the disease, from prevention to diagnosis and treatment.

They believe in supporting and encouraging the team to further themselves through advanced and continuing education.

Since 1995, Artisan Dental has supported and sponsored the "Women in Science Scholarship", which promotes the education of young women in Central Florida by offering financial assistance. This scholarship is offered to an outstanding high school senior female who has achieved academic merit in each of the five local high schools to a college of their choice.

dr-isaacsDr. Mary Isaacs graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with Honors and completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Dr. Isaacs has been in dentistry for almost 30 years and has received numerous awards, including the Academy of General Dentistry Achievement Award, the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children Merit Award, the American Association of Women Dentists Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Leadership and Academic Excellence, and induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association, the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Seattle Dental Study Club, Central Florida Dental Study Club, Spear Education Faculty Study Club, and the Schuster Center for Professional Development and Performance Coach.

Dr. Isaacs has recently earned a prestigious Diplomate designation from the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.  Diplomate status is widely recognized as the gold standard for excellence in the dental sleep medicine field.

As part of her commitment, she regularly attends continuing education classes. This involves extensive training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including restoring dental implants and oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea. Her training includes ongoing workshops, hands-on training, and lectures at Spear Education and the Schuster Center for Professional Development. She believes that to find a naturally beautiful smile, you need to find an experienced dentist who is dedicated to her patients and professional growth. Dr. Isaacs takes great pride in her patients and her passion to make a difference in people's lives.

Dr. Isaacs is currently an Affiliated Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at the University of Florida and is a Spear Education Visiting Faculty Mentor in Scottsdale, Arizona.

On a personal note, Dr. Isaacs has been married to her soulmate, Tony, for 37 years, has two daughters, Olivia and Michaela, and a West Highland Terrier named Sophie. Her leisure activities includes spending time with her family, various church activities, Eucharistic Minister to the Sick, studio cycling, kayaking, boating,  photography, yoga, and just about anything outside.


Kathryn Miller, DMD

Dr. Katie MillerDr Katie Miller was born and raised in central Illinois. She attended both Butler University and the University of Louisville, earning a bachelor's degree in Biology and a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree respectively. At Louisville, Dr Miller was awarded the L.D. Pankey Occlusion Award and subsequently received post graduate training at the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Fl. Dr Miller then committed a year to an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida in St. Petersburg.

Following her residency, Dr Miller moved to Central Florida and has been an active and respected member of the dental community ever since. She has a passion for dentistry and enthusiasm for helping others, including an active role in the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.

She is consistently voted by her peers to Orlando Magazine's annual list of Top Dentists. Dr Miller has the core values and integrity that are in align with our practice and has excellent clinical and diagnostic skills. She brings over 17 years experience in clinical dentistry and truly loves our profession.

Dr Miller resides in Maitland, raising her two young daughters with her husband Dave.
